예상치 못한 내 예술적 감각?
인선 누나가 갑작스럽게 미션을 주어 찾게 된 자개 체험장. 모던한의 특혜(?)를 받으며 긴 줄을 제치고 먼저 자리에 앉아 선생님의 나름 특별 케어를 받으며 작품을 만들기 시작했다. 내가 고전하고 있자 코치해주면서 조심스럽게 나보고 어느 국악을 전공했냐길래 나는 건설인이라고 소개하자 이렇게 만난 것이 신기하다며 자신은 중학교 때부터 20년 넘게 자개를 전공해왔다고 소개했다. 새삼 예술에도 다양한 분야가 있고 국악 전공자도 범접할 수 없는 나전칠기에 대한 상당한 자부심이 있다는 것을 느낄 수 있었다.
해보니까 생각보다 재밌다. 재료 종류가 한정적인게 아쉽긴 하지만 꼼꼼한 나는 어떻게든 채워넣었다. 좀 시간이 많이 흘렀는지 인선 누나가 아직까지 하고 있냐면서 대단하다고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
어느 순간 내가 뭘하고 있는건지 잘하고는 있는건지 반은 넋이 나간 상태로 어찌저찌 마무리를 했지만 나름 생각을 하고 심혈을 기울인 작품이라 ㅎㅎ 다들 꼼꼼히 예쁘게 잘 했다고 칭찬 받으니 나름 뿌듯하다 ㅎㅎ

Insun suddenly ordered a quest to make Najeon Chilgi decoration on the bottle lid. I introduced myself from Modern Han and they put me ahead of the long waiting line and started to make my own artwork with special care from the teacher. She had more than 20 years experiences with Najeon Chilgi and seems so proud of her experience.
It’s so fun! Though there are insufficient parts of mother-of-pearls, I am so meticulous that i fill in with pieces of mother-of-pearls as much as possible. I didn’t realize it passed so long time until Insun is pressing me to come back.
I have been so deliberate for the work but still not sure the quality. But I am so happy that my work get praised by the teacher and Insun!
